How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Visitor comments are checked through an automated spam detection service based outside of the UK in the USA.
How we protect your data
We store comments data in a database inside a private VPC with our cloud provider AWS. The data is stored un hashed in a MYSQL database, it’s protected by administrator passwords that are rotated monthly. Since the data stored are comments that are already public on the website, we feel this security is sufficient.
What data breach procedures we have in place
We routinely check access logs and if any anomaly is detected we we change all of the passwords and disconnect any current connections to the database.

We do not use third party data to provide this website.
